April 2009, ARIZONA

January 2009, VIRGINIA

October 2008, CALIFORNIA
Jury awards tenant in a building converted to a hotel just under $1.5 million for improperly remediating numerous water issues in her unit, which lead to mold growth.

November 2005, CALIFORNIA
$22.6 million settlement paid by lumber company, home contractors and suppliers to family for personal injuries resulting from mold exposure, primarily neurological injuries.

October 2004, INDIANA
$24 million settlement paid by home builders to 2,000 new home purchasers for mold property damage.

September 2004, CALIFORNIA
$8.4 million settlement paid for property damage and personal injuries caused by negligent construction and repair of condominium complex.

November 2003, Miami, FLORIDA
Real estate investment trust pays $25 million settlement to residents of apartment complex for mold damage to their property.

May 2003, CALIFORNIA
Entertainer Ed McMahon obtains $7 million settlement for mold damage to his home and personal injuries from his homeowners insurance carrier.

October 2002, LOUISIANA
Homeowners insurance company pays $.984 million settlement to homeowners for property damage and personal injuries.

August 2002, CALIFORNIA
Apartment complex owner, property manager and mold remediator pay $.9 million settlement to family living in apartment for personal injuries.

April 2002, CALIFORNIA
Jury awards owners of apartment complexes $2.9 million against insurance company for refusing to cover mold damage.

November 2001, CALIFORNIA
Jury awards family living in apartment $2.7 million against owners/managers of apartment complex for injuries resulting from mold exposure.

November 2001, ARIZONA
Jury awards homeowner $4.2 million against their homeowners’ insurance carrier for failing to timely remediate mold damage.

September 2001, NEW YORK
Owners of 500-unit apartment complex in New York City pay $1.2 million to settle personal injury claims resulting from mold exposure and agree to pay $25 million in repair costs.

June 2001, TEXAS
Family awarded $32.1 million verdict against Farmers Insurance Company for mishandling mold claim on family’s home in Dripping Springs (verdict ultimately reduced to $4 million).

2001, CALIFORNIA
Jury awards 96 year old man $18 million against Allstate Insurance Company for failing to pay to remediate mold damage after water pipes burst in his home (the award was later reduced to $2.7 million, and then reversed entirely).

1996-97, Polk County, FLORIDA
$8.9 million settlement paid to 183 court employees (including judges) by 22 defendants responsible for the construction of the Polk County courthouse which became infested with mold growth.

June 1996, Martin County, FLORIDA
$14 million award rendered against construction manager of Martin County courthouse as result of mold damages caused by faulty construction.
